Well my recent health issues have given me a lot of free time. I just started 6 weeks of radiation therapy on my head and neck ,(today was day 2 0f 30). So I've been working on some original tunes my Keyboard player friend wrote. He records all the music with a click track and sends them on to me and I do the drum tracks.
I'm using my Yamaha DTXtreme ll's for ease of recording, although it does change my playing style a bit from when i play my acoustic kit.
Anyhoo I've got 6 songs up. I'm pleased with most of them. You will notice a few spots were the kick did not trigger (pain is the *Horse's Patoot*) there is a fix for it I can dowlnoad though.
All instrumental music, not sure what style I'd label it. Have a listen if you like.
You won't hear any mind blowing drumming, just what the songs called for.
My personal favorite is "On your feet"

I dont have any professional recording equip, just a pc and a mic, and a =<1 minute .wav files strictly for *Poop* and giggles
Well have fun and stay loose =) _________________ "The more control you have of the instrument, the more confidence you will get and the more you will be able to express your ideas; Technique is only good if you can use it musically." -J.M. |

Here's my vid of my crappy technique. I'm not nearly as good as any of you guys on this fine forum
But here it is anyways.
I messed up several times, but oh well... and man, do I have a gut! Need to stop drinking beers.
