so i have come down to 2 final sets, the gretsch catalina club mod set with my exact size preference and a pdp cx kit. Basically i need to know which one would be better for my style or just the better overall kit. i look up to john bonham, carter beauford, neil pert, the rev and others but my favorites are travis barker and jose pasillas. heres the thing, on the gretsch kit i would get a 10' tom added on and on the pdp kit i would get a 14x16 floor. so any help is gretly appreciated
thanks

Some drumdogs have recently reported witnessing quality control issues with Pacific product on store floors. A forum search should reveal specifics.

Whenever possible, examine your purchase carefully before paying for it and taking it home.

For now, the Gretsch Catalina is enjoying superior favor.

if you do decide to go with the CX, here is a great option. A drumdog is selling his 7 piece (with hardware) for really cheap. The price keeps dropping, and is currently at $740

take a look

that is a GREAT price seeing as the 5 piece with OUT hardware is around 900 new
heres a 7 piece, with hardware, in good condition, for freaking $740??? this deal can not be passed up

For the record, I agree with the substance of your post. IT's excellent guidance....

The tone has me concerned....

You sound like you've been watching..... too many hours of the Home Shopping Network.

Is there something you want to tell us?

your style is in YOU, it is not affected by the kit you play.
