Hey everybody, I'm brand new here
Looking around for my 1st drum set... had my eye on the PDP FXR shells. However, I heard some rumors(?) here that they might not hold up well over time... And something about the edges of the shells. But maybe that was just one occurrence? But now I'm a bit hesitant... So what's the consensus? Is this true?
Thanks |

There has been dozens of posts about Pacifics (lack of) quality control.
How a keeps 'holds up' over time depends on how you look after it. _________________ 'Because it is sometimes so unbelievable the truth escapes becoming known.' - Heracleitus (ca. 500 B.C.) |

| Yeah, looks like everybody replied to the other thread... From what I gather, if I bring a friend who knows a lot about drums to the store... inspect the shells & set them up to make sure they're not duds, and then take reasonable care of them, then I should be alright? Or just pay more for Mapex or something. |
