hey well as well as being a drummer i play percussion in a brass band for about the last 3/4 years now, so i cover a wide range of percussion. ive played congas and bongos in it and i know basic stuff like the conga rhythm is built from the clave rhythm like in latin american. but i wish to know more cos before i didnt really know there was more behind playing congas. so what kind of stuff do you suggest finding out or any info on playing congas? and djembe's as well.. what are they suited more for?
