Is it possible to get a controller, that count your bass drum kick, or hi-hat, or?? , and controlled the speed ( tempo) on a midi player ( midi songs)

The tempo on every song in the midi player(Charlie Lab) can be turned up and down with a buttom (ex, 100-101-102-102 ect ect., and the other way ex. 100-99-98 ect ect.

The problem is that I play el-drums (Roland dk12, and Yamaha explorer) to midi files,

I know that it is player that controlled the speed ( tempo), but it is sometimes hard to follow the midi songs. L

In a real band it is the drummer the control the (tempo)

So the gold question is : Is it possible to get a controller, that can controlled the speed ( tempo), on the player ( if you play a little slower the midi player automatic will follow your beat, and if you play a little faster the same will happen with the midi player (songs) ??
