Also try adjusting the resonant heads as well.

Even with budget kits, you can get sounds similar to how you'd like.


well the main reason i cant get it to sound good is because i still have all the stock heads except for the batter head for the bass drum. i have a remo powersonic for that. i like it.

but yes i have tried it.
