anyone use a wood block? Anything in particular? I want to add a new sound to my set. I'd prefer a could cross stick sound but I just can't get a good one out of my snare... |

well after about an hour at a local drum shop we were able to come up with a goofy configuration that makes a used woodblock fit on my hi-hat stand. kind of cool actually. I'll try to get a picture of it later |

You know an LP jam block or a pearl clave block are basically a woodblock for drumset, and they won't break like a woodblock will. _________________ The Silvertones |

| I'm going to be really bummed if my wood block breaks. I just got it the way I like it! |
