I have been reading this forum for a few days now and decided to register and say whats up. I am 21 from PA. I have been drumming since 6th grade. I have been a concert and marching drummer throughout my high school career. I never owned or really played a set. After graduation a buddy of mine bought a cheap Groove Percussion set for me to jam with him when he plays guitar. That is what started it all for me and the set.

Now its three years later and my dedication to drumming has only been increasing. I have had enough of that cheap set and its craptastic hardware and sound. I decided that I will probably never stop drumming. So Sunday I took the plunge. I am now the proud owner of a Gretsch Catalina Birch 6 Piece. Thanks to my friends great haggling skills we got it for $650usd.

I am really only a reader and probably won't post much. Well, thats my story. I'll be around here reading somewhere.
