Who knows of any type of metronome that will like vibrate the tempo or something along those lines?

I'm currently using an in-ear metronome, but the problem is that I can't hear the rest of the band that great when they're in, even when it's turned down. I'm looking into alternative solutions that will allow me to hear everything while still keeping tempo.

Any suggestions?

I know the yamaha click station vibrates but I'm not sure of much beyond that. You might also try a visual metronome, but you'd have to pay a good amount of attention to it.

You can feed it into only one ear... so the other ear can hear your band properly.

the metronome i use now has the blinking lights and an animated bar on it, but i can't imagine trying to play while staring at it.

the click station is a good idea, but you have to push on the vibrate pad, which is pretty useless.

i think i'll just have to suck it up, eh? or rob a bank and get enough for a full in-ear monitor setup for the band. thanks for all the quick responses, though!

afterthought: i wonder if i could take the click station and pull out the vibrator and make an extension so i could attach it onto me... i'll have to see if i could find one in a store around here to see if the vibrate function is even strong enough to make it worthwhile.
