I am having a problem with my hi hat sticking closed. I have tried adjusting the tension but it seems to be very hard to find the right setting. Anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it?

How old is it? Does the linkage look grimy/dirty? Maybe it just needs cleaned and oiled.
