|
|
I recently bought a power glide Iron Cobra (single) pedal. I found out that I really want a double pedal, so I was wondering if there are add on's to iron cobra singles to make it double? Please help me. I saw that there was an add on to the eliminator, but I can't find one to the iron cobra!! It's soo irritating if I have to buy a new double pedal, just because they don't have an add on! Please answer! Thank you very much!!!

im sure you can either do 2 things
1) buy the eliminator one and attach it to your cobra (should fit, the pedals would just be different
2) look for a used part on ebay or something like that,
i think you might be able to buy another single and a connector bar and make your own, not sure exactly how it worx _________________

Well... I'm just a bit frustrated... That's all. I'll buy a double sometime, but for now I consentrate on a A customr Zildjan crash or ride... They're so cool! _________________ Born by the drums, live by the drums, die by the drums...

Sorry, There is only one way to make a single Cobra into a double. You would have to buy all of the parts separately, and it would cost you roughly twice the price of just buying the double in the first place. _________________ Guns don't kill people... I kill people.

| Man, just sell the single, and get yourself the double. Take the hit, if you really want it. Just don't buy any double because you want one. Some of the really cheap ones are just absolute crap. Like anything though, you might want to think about not buying a super high end one until you've tried it out and decided you want to switch to a double, assuming that you've only played on a single. If that's not the case, then get the good stuff. I'd start with something mid-range, that can be used as a single as well, and still maintains a certain amount of action that your accustomed to already having a cobra, or even see if you can rent one for like a month just to try it out. I made the mistake of buying a double Iron cobra years back, when I wasn't really ready for the double, and ended up not really using it for what it's for, and eventually used just a single. That's like a $400 single pedal, and it didn't even clean my room. Anyhow, I may just be way off base here. |

If you don't mind mixing brands, there are a lot of Pearl ad-ons for sale on ebay right now that might fit. _________________ You should never criticize someone until you have walked a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him you are a mile away, and you have his shoes. |
