Anybody here interested in seeing a strike-pull technique video? I've considered doing one in the past, but just wanna see if there is an interest out there.

FYI, for those of you that aren't familiar with this technique... it is designed to get rebound-like doubles out of your toms and other parts of your kit that aren't as bouncy/responsive as your snare drum.

Bytor,

I keep the video costs down very low. Drum lessons can cost up to $35/hour... so at $5-10 I think the vids are a steal. I just want to have the site break even, and maybe make a few bucks. I think that's pretty fair, eh?

I'm glad you enjoyed the last vid. I'll do my best to break down this next technique with the same clarity.

I'm just having a little fun with you, man. I don't think your prices are unreasonable. Oh, and drum lessons can cost considerably more than $35/hour, depending on who the intructor is. Smile

taking lessons from a guy for $15 CAN.

Half an Hour lessons...but we usually go over by about 10 minutes, since I'm last one of the day. The guy's learned from Steve Houghton and Jeff Porcaro. He's been going to University, so he's seminared with alot of other great drummers. Also, he knows the bassist from the Buddy Rich band. Bassist might be living in the city...not sure...but hopefully he might get in and help us with Channel One Suite...that'd be awesome. Music world revolves around connections, actually, most things, and everyone says the same thing... Understandible..considering it's TRUE.. Shocked

Yep, has anybody heard of Kevin Radomski?

edit: whoops...wrong place...errgh...oh well

I know a Kyle Radomski... from our local music shop in Langley. Maybe related?

Anyway... yeah, $15 for half/hour seems like a good deal. I pay $35 for a full hour, so your beating me by $5, and getting the extra 10 minutes. I don't mind though... got a great instructor, and they are hard to find, eh?

I was in the right place at the right time. So I got lessons almost right away, the nice thing about a pecking order is you can beat the line. So, I've helped 2 people get lessons. Kevin has a brother in BC somewhere. I think his name is Andrew though..Apparently, he's a big guy. Alot of Radomskis though... Not sure, maybe if you talk to Kyle again, you can ask him
