Beautiful, I want. How do they sound?

LMAO!!!!

They sound so killer. Bing, bang boong they just sing. Every drum rings like nothing I've ever heard before.

I put my Mapex M Birch next to them and compared tones. Not even close. The Gretsch is so much more pleasing to my ears. Twisted Evil

I agree,

I played this kit at Guitar Center last week and was sold. Wow!!!

Have you got it yet?

Which stain did you go with?

My Catalina Birch kit is in Red Cherry and I love that finish but GC had both the Cherry Burst and Autumn Burst and I believe the Autumn Burst will be my choice if I make this buy. Both were gorgeous. In need about 6 more band jobs to put this together just on the kit. So…. I wait for now. Crying or Very sad

I'm a pretty big fan of gretsch. When I was looking for a new drumset, I came down to gretsch renown and mapex saturn. I happily went with the saturns, but i have to say it was a very close one. A friend of mine plays gretsch, and they look great and sound even better. Very Happy Congrats on your buy, I'm sure you'll be very happy! By the way, do you have any more pictures? Wink
