Well, that differs depending on your pedal, but basically you dissemble the parts attached to the rotating shaft and reverse the beater and pedal cam so that the shaft rotates the opposite direction and the beater swings up. Sometimes it's tricky to choose the rotated orientation relative to each other on the shaft but if you play with it you can get it tweaked. My iron cobra is quite tricky, the Mapex pedal I had before was easier. At some point I'd like to try a DW because they have that extra swing adjuster which might help a lot.

Not sure, I'm not really familiar with it.

If it's a normal set-up with a rotating shaft above the footbed that drives the beater then you should be able to do it. Here
s a couple how-to pages:

DW 5000 pedal
http://www.cocktaildrum.com/learn/construct/dw-pedal/dw-pedal.html

Pulse pedal
http://www.cocktaildrum.com/learn/construct/pulse-pedal/pulse-pedal.html

Good luck.

No problem, I'm glad it worked out for you. You should check out that forum at cocktaildrum.com if you're interested or want to see some other clever stuff for small kits. Here's a pic of my kit the way it looked before I got new hihats and moved the splash above the timps:

Looks good. How do you like it? Tuning on a floor tom is a little different this way. I put a hydraulic head on the bottom of mine--not quite a superkick, but it sounds pretty good.

ever thought about the DW side kick pedal?

http://www.dwdrums.com/pedals/5000/Side-kick.jpg

Havn't tried it but looks innovative and efficient.

ive got it pretty well, ill probably buy a hydralic next but ive got a hellof a bottom head and it seems to work.
i love it, its like having 2 completely same basses then having one thats smaller and larger sound to it, makes me feel like thomas lang,
im like thde only person ive seen do it and is pretty awsome feel if you have an extra pedal might as well try it. i dont want to spend any more money than nedded, thats why i used a ludwig pedal instead of a dw pedal. and im actually getting fairly fast between the 3 pedals
