Depends on your budget, allowing for extra to upgrade the stock heads on the new M Birch.
That being said, how old is the M series? It may have maple/baswood shells - play both and see which you like the sound of. _________________ 'Because it is sometimes so unbelievable the truth escapes becoming known.' - Heracleitus (ca. 500 B.C.) |

Depends on your style my new dog friend.
I play Saturns for rock. I've been nothing but impressed with the performance of them.
The M Birch is the better quality kit. |
