It does look very cool, and much to the style of how I play. I will have to check it out. I had been thinking about the Pacific BOA pedal, but at half the price, this looks like a better pedal. _________________ "One day I feel I'm on top of the world

They are huge. They are larger (at least longer) than the Axis pedals. They dont seem so in pics, but in person they look monsterous. The pedal is extremely smooth, but as mentioned in many reviews, it is not for people who want to be blazing fast.
Due to the design, it has a very different feel on the rebound, with a smooth and consistant feel all the way down and up on strokes. This is intended for endurance and pretty much heel down playing. Im sure if I stayed in the store all day I could have played forever without getting tired, but unless you create some new technique for fast playing, there will be no double bass blasting with this pedal that I can see.
That said, the pedal seems to do just what they said its for, comfortable and long endurance, conventional playing. Older drummers who get worn out at the 3hr+ bar scenes will love this thing, and its priced great for those who need one.
But one last time, compared to my chain driven Intruder II pedals, this thing does not give you a fast, powerful, in control feel. Not saying it isnt powerful, or even fast, just feels like you are pressing on a pillow; that might not be a bad thing.
*Note* I messed around with this pedal in person at Houston Percussion, didnt get to play extensively with it, but did handle it. Next time I am by there, I will check it out some more and try to give a better "review" for short term use. _________________ Merlin Coryell

Thanks for the scoop on that pedal, Merlin. I've been wondering about the feel of that one.

Thanks, now if I can just get Gibraltar to give me an endorsement deal, I can get a bunch of free crap to write proper reviews for. _________________ Merlin Coryell
