a black head for the twenty six inch bass drum???
I just bought a Led Zep kit....it comes with Genera G1's but I was wondering if anyone had Evans hydraulic heads on their toms...
The other drum kit I have now has Evans hydraulics and my biggest floor tom is 16'...there was no problem getting a black hydraulic head....but I can't seem to find an 18" head for my Ludwig floor tom...not sure I really need one...I just like the sound and the look. THe kit is white marine pearl....and black heads would look great.
I'll probably just stick with whatever I can find for the toms...
But the bass drum, I wanted to put a black head on the front of the tom....and noticed that most of the major drum head makers don't carry a 26" bass head....except Ludwig of course. Unless, I'm looking in the wrong place...

Depends where about you are in the world. Imagine the trouble i have getting hold of 28" heads! Try www.djmmusic.co.uk or www.thomann.de they should have some
Most of the companies make them, but it's just that most shops etc. don't stock them because of their size. Hope this helps you in your search. |
