Vic-Firth 5A Nylon and Wooden tips.
Pro-Mark Hot Rods
Pro-Mark Lightning Rods
I also have a pair of graphite 2B's. They're weird. _________________ Mapex Pro-M 5 piece Fusion

I use some sticks that I find laying around the yard. I try to find matching ones but that never happens. I have a really big tree that drops a lot of the sticks I use but it gets hard in the winter with the snow on the ground

Vic Firth 5A with wood heads, plus about 16 pairs of crappy maple sticks that came with the drum set and a really nice pair of Vic Firth Jack De Johnelt signature sticks painted white. I have never heard of the guy, but they give a really nice pang sound on the ride. I also have a pair of guns and roses decorative sticks but i never plan on using them, cause they sound like crap and just look too good.

I don't like the sound of steel factory floor-scrapings on my cymbals. |

I've been messing with the Vic Firth T.Langs for a while now. They're slightly larger than a 2B. I enjoy the feel and the responce. The sound is probably my favorite. I like my drums to have a full sound whem I play them.

I've been using Vic Firth SD11 Slammer's for about 8 years and wouldn't think of using anything else! Nice weight, diameter and a very pointed, acorn-shaped tip! GREAT for cymbals.
My local drum shop recently was looking at an older Firth catalog and told me that these had been DISCONTINUED!!! I felt like I had lost a child! I picked up the closest thing I could find, the Stanton Moore signature model by Firth. Good, but not the SD11's!!!

I did use Ahead 5B light rock sticks for a while, but when I went back to use good old wooden 7A's, i realised how heavy and awkward they are. Aslo, having to hold metal and play makes them slippery, unlike wood, which does absorb some sweat, and is more grippy than metal.

My main sticks are Vic Firth 8Ds (Same Dia as the 7As but are 1/2" longer). I also use Pro Mark Hot Rods and Vic Firth Steve Gadd Signature Brushes. I also have some Vater 5As that I keep around just because.
