I use primarily:
1) Pro-Mark 5AN's
2) Pro-Mark Mike Portnoy signatures for a big more volume
3) Vic Firth Buddy Rich signatures for jazz and more delicate stuff
4) Hot Rods
5) Thunder Rods |

| Mostly Vic Firth 5AN's for playing with my band. For anything else, Vic Firth 7A's. I can't stand heavy sticks. |

I like using variety. All vic firth. 2BN for individual practice (rudiments, chops, ect.) 5BN for rock or metal (band practise) 5AN or hotrods for jazz or latin or classical indian (band practise)
I use the respective sticks with wooden tips for playing live though (I like the sound better) |

| The peter erskine signature stick(not the ride stick) feels good to me, as do the omar hakim signature sticks if I'm playing louder but best of all lately I've been playing the Bill Stewart signature Zildjian stick for two reasons, lightest stick in my local music shop and Bill Stewart is one of my drumming heroes. |

I'm Still using Zildjian Jazz for lighter stuff and Zildjian Heavy jazz for heavier stuff (I prefer the heavy jazz....such a perfect fit for my hand.) _________________ "I'm not dumb, I just have a command of thoroughly useless information" - Calvin of Bill Waterson's "Calvin and Hobbes" |
