Yeah 13 is a lot, if I didn't have an endorsement it would break the bank no doubt. Very Happy I'll be sure and post pics when they arrive

What did you have to do to get endorsed by them?

I guess I'm old school. Been on since '05 or something like that. Well, on and off. been divorced, cared for my mother for her last year of life...that's depressing - but also met a wonderful girl, got engaged, got reenergized musically with a new band (resonance08 on myspace).

seems like the forum has changes a lot. tyler, u post a lot and that's cool but it is definitely a different vibe. i would like to see the younguns point of view along with the old farts personally.

the forum used to be cookin'! anyone remember barbie-gate? how about the solo contests where we would post audio files?

We should do that again (the solo contest).

I also remember Barbie...she was funny. I also miss Rusty.

I need to give him a call too.

It's a drum dogs reunion! How's it going guys? As you may have guessed, I've been pretty busy lately. I'm moving to the Kansas City area tomorrow, in fact. Since I've been here, I've gone to Antarctica twice, obtained a PhD, published several research papers, did a 2-year postdoc, and got a position as an Assistant Professor of Biology. It's been a busy time to say the least.

I think many of the sentiments already stated in this thread are right on point. After a while, you get too busy to answer the same questions over and over again. At this point, I'd rather just chat with you guys about whatever than talk about which sticks or drum heads to use. It's been great getting to know you all. I'm sure I'll be popping in from time to time, and I'll still post if there's something I want to say.

You guys are great. (Can you feel the love?)

Hey Captor, its going well! Got a new band going(I'll post some pics and vids soon) and just place an order for 13 new Saluda cymbals Very Happy .
Got a new job doing IT for a real estate firm which is really cool. Life is good! Hows things with you? Still got the band going?

Very cool man, good to hear all is going so well. It's pretty awesome to see you on the Saluda site. Congrats on that deal!

IT work is pretty cool. I do similar stuff (sorta) at Kingston Tech. You quickly become a "go to" for pretty much everyone in your company. ahaha....it's a great way to network with the "high ups" as well.

Yeah, band is still going. IVEBEENSHOT anyway. We're setting up a photo shoot I think, working on distro for our album in the UK and a few other places I think. Playing a few shows with Anall *evil red-headed step child* (sorry for the language/filter bypass....it's a band name!!) and Psyopus....so that should be fun. I'm also getting my home studio up and going....so keep an eye out for about 30 side projects in the near future. ahahaha
