I recently got my electric drum set, and at the moment I am using some old PC speakers, but they are really bad. I don't have much money to spend, so would it be a good idea to get some better PC speakers with lots of bass than an amp?

Simmons DA-50

I have this amp for my Roland TD-12. For the price (200$ US), it's a decent amp. Delivers a full-range of sounds and is reasonable. Buy good cables to limit the noise buzz of course. I would recommend this amp for most purposes including practice and rehearsals or even maybe a small gig.

I rehearsed Saturday with a bassist/guitarist for the first time with this small amp and it was defintily adaquate in that use.

Shocked I was thinking more in the terms of about £20-£30, so I think I might have to look at PC speakers instead lol.

it's not easy to find something for that price. You can't save 60 pounds? For that money you can get an adaquate keyboard amp

This amp is around 30 pounds. I suggest a keyboard monitor over computer speakers or a guitar amp.
