| ok so what is the cheapest 808 bass drop pad i can get, when i search, all i can find are like 500 dollar drum machine pads. i just want a pad i can hit for those big 808 bass drops in the middle of breakdowns for live shows. but i dont want to pay that much. if anyone knows a lot about this stuff please help me out, i appreciate it. |

isn't the "808 bass drop" a sound sample, and not an actual piece of hardware? i imagine youd need to get an electronic drum brain + a pad to trigger sounds from, or a synthesizer or something _________________

you can hook up a Roland practice pad to some software in your computer, then dnld the sound sample....i know this can be done, i just don't know how.  _________________
