Hi All...

i so new i still have the ambilical cord attached! but have been having a great time with my DD-55 that (and am making some real progress - i think) that i want to save some of my own "licks" (first time i have used that term!)...

i'll assume that most music supply shops carry Midi cables (perhaps radio shack/circ city too?), but i was wondering if anyone can make a suggestion for a useful (though entry level - i.e., cheapish) software package that will help me manage the saved tracks, etc...

thanks for your help...

i had such a great lsession last eve that i was mad (when i finished) that i did not have the ability to "capture it"

thanks...

If you have a Mac, then you can do GarageBand, which is free. It depends on what your budget is, when you say cheapish. For $100, you can get some solid recording software and many times they come bundled free if you buy any type of computer recording hardware.

GarageBand is Apple only. Audacity is the biggest free music software but it unfortunately doesn't support Midi. I would google "open source midi" and pick any of those smaller projects and play around with them.
