My name is Paul - I live in the northwestern suburbs of Washington DC. I'm 40 and have been playing since I was 14. My influences run from Buddy Rich, to my daughter who has only been playing for 2 years but she has some interesting approaches to beats and fills that make me think "hum that was neat".

For my early years I was in a rock band playing at parties, dances, band battles, bars, college stadiums, large company parites, and even got on a regional "Star Search" competition.

More recently for the past 10 years I have been playing during contemporay Church services (live 3 times a week). This has forced my style to develop into other fusions that I never thought would work. (try country/samba! LOL)

Now I'm restless - it sure would be nice to find a group of musicians with lots of energy, excellent creativity and of course a great attitude. My goal is to develop a new style that is not too crazy, yet using talents from every member.

I may be 40 but I have the heart of a 17 year old - just ask my 17 year old daughter Laughing

Take care

Paul

Thanks By- Tor. BTW how's the battle against The Necromancer? LOL

I saw Rush Live at Nissan Pavillion and I loved that vid with Mr. Peart in bed with that old man. The scream! LOL too funny.
