i know a few people have put a few electronic pads into their acoustic set, and i was wondering what you guys thought. and if anyone knows how you can get the sound of the electrnics and the sounds of the mics through your headphones, just wondering if you would need any special plugs.
i was thinking something like this,

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Alesis-Trigger-Pad-for-DM5-Electronic-Drum-Kit-449752-i1165994.gc

and this

would these work, and what else would i need to make this work. i am not in any rush to get this because i have a few other things to get first, but this is definatly something i would like to know more about
