Hi all,

i'm having a bit of trouble learning a song; 'hocus pocus' by focus. the general beat bits are easy enough but it's the fills/small solos i'm struggling with. does anyone know of any tabs or have any advice to offer? i can usually work out what's happening just by listening to it, but the stuff here happens a little bit too fast to keep up with

this was asked about four years ago but recieved no replies...

You're talking about the LONG 6:41 minute version?

If you have it in MP3 format, and you open it up in Windows Media Player you can slow it down quite a bit with the "Play Speed Settings".
(View>Enhancements>PlaySpeedSettings)
That should make it easier to decipher, but that guy was a MONSTER on that tune! The single stroke roll stuff between the kick and the floor between 4:11 and 4:16 just slay me!!

*makes fast drum noises*
Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga, Doogga!!!

L0L0L0L!! Awesome!!!

One of my favorite tunes ever.
