i know, another off topic thing but i could really use some help
Im stupid, so answers like that arent going to help too much here,
i figured out i have internet on my phone, and that i figured that there would be a warning if we didnt have unlimited internet, and there wasnt. We have a pretty good phone serice, my dad being with the same company for like 15 years gets us good plans, and i figured that couldve been in there without my dad knowing it. I, have the Check bill balance on my phone, and checked it the first few times i went on and the bill stayed the same so i thought cool. Now my parents have payed last months and on this months bill(like i said i have the CBB) it has a $250 bill,(we have four phone bills, usually each at about $120)
of course me being the dumb *Golly Gee* i am, the bills in december, and i would like if it didnt meess up anyones x-mas stuf(make me feel really bad if it did) and would like to pay them back(they dont know yet, i dont plan on telling them but when i get yelled at id like to be like here ya go,(hand over $100-120 and say i know i messed up, cause i now know i did)

any way to make some cash, by the next month, i should be able to get like $50 by then, but i would really like to pay them back as much as possible, cause i know i messed up, and i would like to not get yelled at

One, they won't tell you that you have unlimited internet, becasue they make money from the data charges. Two, you should know if you had unlimited internet or not when you sign up for cell phone service. Three get a family plan, they are cheaper. Four, to make cash fast, sell blood or organs.

im not 17 so i can legally give blood for cash, id be happy to cause after the 60 in the back and 40 in arms for allergy testing thats nothing, (and getting 4 shots a week for 8 months then 2 a week for 6 months and 2 every 2 weeks for 1/12 years and 2 every three months for 6 months and 2 every month for last 5 months, needles dont realy hurt at all Smile

)

you should probably just man up and talk to your parents. trust me, people tend to be a lot easier to deal with if youre honest with them. if you wait till they get the bill, and they find out you knew about this the entire time, i doubt theyll be very forgiving.

hey dad, i just wasted you a $120, sorry i thought i had internet but i dont.

my thing alot of my friends think is to tell them to cancle my serviece for a month, since its basically 2 months of service, just cancle for a month, i just gotta figure out if AT&T does something like that

Usually if you drop a line there's a ridiculous fee like $200. I would just try to talk to the rents and see if you can work something out. I don't know how available you are, but maybe try to find a job doing construction labor or something, alot of contractors need whatever help they can get and are more than willing to pay cash...

trust me, theres harder things to have a conversation with your parents about than accidentally activating the internet on your phone. how bout just saying... "hey parents, i was messing around on my phone and went on the internet a few times, since i thought that was part of our plan. when i checked the balance on my account, it said i was being charged [amount]."

theyre going to find out eventually. youre also in no position to negotiate with the phone company, especially if youre 15 and your name is not on the contract, so trying to bide your time and come up with a solution probably wont work. i would just tell them on your terms before they find out and the brown stuff hits the fan.

i know thats not the hardest, but its like the hardest ive done, ive never really done anything bad to get them to pay money(like bailing out of juvie or anything) so like this is like the most amount of cash ive wasted.

Don't tell them. When they find out grab them by the throats and threaten them. Make sure they know you're in charge and have no plans of paying this bill. If all else fails, put a credit card in their mouth and slam their head down, shoving it through the sides of the mouth.

That or grow a pair and just tell them. I mean jesus dude, kids do stupid stuff. They'll appreciate it more if you just straight up tell them instead of lying or not saying anything at all. Maybe they'll chalk it up to a mistake and be cool with it. You might get a slap on the wrist but it's probably better than them out some other way then beating you like the child they never wanted.

...mention the phone bill, they will probably be less mad about it.

but my mom would probably die on spot, or kill me afterwards for joking about something like that
