i havent owned it, but i played on this Rodgers kit yesterday for a audio engirneer final for my brother and i would say it was the worst kit ive ever played on.
the spurs were just a metal tube, the wrap was messed up and a ugly glitters sparkle red that looked like it should be on a 10 year old girls phone not a drumkit the snare stand was falling apart with my snare on it, the tom holder had split bpart of the bass drum(from like bending it or something it was hecka cracked,) and the tom mounts werent moveable, the bass drum hoops were too big so that my beaters were like on the head, making it impossible to do doubles, bass sounded hell of muddy, the toms were tuned wayy too high( like one of those tabalas) and 2 of the 4 cymbal stands were broken and the high hat pedal lagged and the rims had some rust on it.
that tops my list make my kit feel like roallty |

my 2nd kit. network percussion.
it was about $1400, and when i 1st got it i was a noob to drumming. but down the line, i found out so much bout other kits, and that mine....well sucked. my new kit, sonor force 3007, is about the same price, it was 1500. and its 1000000x times better than my network kit.
although the snare has a great sound to it. _________________

I had a yamaha dtxpress kit about 5 years ago that was awful. The bass trigger was very unreliable and only allowed for a single pedal, and the cymbal pads were even worse. Overall not worth $200 much less the $900 I paid for it. _________________ Endorser of Saluda Cymbals since 2006! |

The electronic kit when I buy one.
Other than that...the standard cheapo set. Still not incredibly terrible, about what you'd expect. _________________ free and easy |

Yup, same boat here. I was considering making my own electronic kit....but not sure the quality of sound would be worth the effort. I think it'd be a fun project though _________________ Candy - taste like chicken, if chicken was a candy. |
