I've recently given these sticks a try, and I just wanted to bring them to the attention of anyone interested in a very well-balanced, durable hickory stick with a long-lasting wood tip. These sticks are uncommonly well made and have a great feel. The tips are a completely round bead. They are the perfect sticks for drummers that like the attack and cymbal response of nylon tips, but don't actually like nylons tips, themselves, for whatever reason. The tips also seem harder than most other wood tips I've played and probably aren't going to chip and flatten out nearly as quickly as other models. The sticks have a fairly short taper, which means that they should last a little longer than normal because the neck stays thick further down the shaft.

Anyway, I'm pretty impressed with them and thought I'd express my opinion. Check them out if you get a chance. If you have already used them, what's your opinion of them?

Almost forgot. Here's what the they look like with a description:

I don't recall playing anything that felt better, either. I just got them, but I have a feeling I'm going to stick with them for a long time.

I use those sticks as well and love them(especially the quick taper and round tip as Bytor pointed out). If anyone uses the Travis barker model Zildjian sticks(I used to) I suggest switching to these, they are almost the same taper and they have the same tip except the American Sound sticks I have found are far more comfortable and last much longer than the TBs.
