Yeah, they're definitely durable, but the balance doesn't seem quite right to me, these days. I have recently tried the Vic Firth American Sound sticks and am really impressed. They're very tough and just seem better balanced. Just my opinion.

I tried Pro Mark sticks once, too, and I still can't figure out what it was, but something didn't feel right with them...maybe it was the balance...I don't know. Clearly they are a good product, though. _________________ Yamaha Drums

I have yet to try Pro-Mark sticks. I have finally found a great feeling stick (Regal Tip) after quite a while of searching. I thought I had a good stick, which were Vic Firth Peter Erskine signature, until I tried these ones. Still, I would really like to try a pair of Pro-Mark.

just got 2 pairs of japan white oak 5a promarks millenium II's with nylon tips and i love them. i was hoping for american hickory, but this was all they had. They are very durable, and lightweight and everything that i want in a stick. The only problem was that they were 8.99 per pair. _________________

That's not too bad, I usually pay about $7.75 for a good pair of sticks.
