Some of the brothers of this forum which like historics facts could find this post interesting.This are Percussionists which are Pioneers within the Afro-Caribbean Percussion...Candido Camero,(the first to introduce a third Conga in an open show in the U.S.)...Chano Pozo,(historic recording with (Dizzy Gillespie's) of Congas in to Jazz,setting the pattern which was followed by other Congeros)...Mongo Santamaria,(Introduction of the Yorubas-patterns in to Jazz and Blues(Afro-Jazz).and also introduction of the congas in to Brazilian Music(50's)...Patato Valdez,(entering in collaboration with major corporation(LP),for the development of Cuban Percussion)...Francisco Aguabella,(introduction of the Bata(African),in to popular music in the U.S.)...Armando Peraza,(introduction of the Congas for the fusion of Afro-Cuban-Rock in the U.S.(Santana Band)...Tata Guines.(developer of advanced technique in to Congas playing,and the first to play with up to 7 Congas)...Pello(Pedro)El Afrocan,(introduction and desemination of the Mozambique Rhythms)...Lazaro Alfonso,(introduction of up to 5 Congas in to an Afro-Cuban Jazz Band(Irakere Band)...Munequitos de Matanzas,(taking the Guaguanco to the whole world through recording and tours)...Los Papines,(taking the Guaguanco to a higher level of performanship)...Tito Puente,(introduction of the Vibraphono in to Cuban Music,taking the Timbales in to a great level of stages)...Gerry Zaragemca,(introduction of the Djembe for solos in to Guaguanco,Rumba,and Yorubas Music),(syncronization of 4 differents Bell's patterns for Samba Music),(creation of a drumming patterns for Samba,which is played by holding three differents time signatures,-5/4,-6/8,-4/4).(introduction of the Djembes and Congas in to Ethiopian Music)...Bill Cohbam,(Introduction of the Drum-Set in African Tribes Music)...Mor Thiam,(introduction of the Djembe in to Jazz-Music).
