Hep me- DMPro Gate time question

Hello, I'm a Nu-B here so forgive if redundant..

I am setting up a MIDI handchime choir using a DMPro as the brain and Pintech (or equiv) triggers. Works great, when triggering internal DM sounds.

However I want to use external synth module and have not found a "gate time" setting for the MIDI output.

So far , the DMPro sends note-on events but no note-offs.. I was hoping for a Roland PM16-style Gate-On duration or some such.

The manual says" does not respond to Note-offs", does that mean it doesn't generate note-offs or just ignores those on the MIDI-in port?

Anybody more familiar than I w/ the DMPro that can Hep?

i have the dmpro brain but i haven't tried to use it for this function sorry man :\
if im remebering correctly there is a dmpro forum out there somewhere. you might want to try google.
