not to take away from your ability drumgod, but i think part of the appeal of the solo is the quality, i hate when i hear drum solos and its a wall of sound due to bad microphones, or even worse when its due to poopy drummers. Good use of rests and accents

well, if you want suggestion for ideas. Try making a more definitive form for your solo. Like a song, with transitions and dynamics, climax etc. Develope rhythm as melody. *shrugs* I dunno how it would work, but I'm sure you could figure something out.

>> Hi Mate !

A slighty different side of your playing ..demonstrated...
To be honest , (as i always am ) nothing ~Flash~ at 1st listen to some.

To me, great CONTROL at a nice easy tempo. 6/4 beats ...like it .
Very Hard to be in Control and Fluid at the kind of tempo You
Jammed this solo..

I still LOVE your HiHats , ~smiles~ am still getting it...

Have said before on MY more Tom inspired solos , but at time of writing
this am building on Hats , Snare , Bass , nothing else....
Getting those Power Hats working.
YEP!
Safe to say I enjoyed your little solo very much.

>> As to any ~Input~ , ~Afterthoughts~ , ~ways to improve YOU~
?????????????

Would have to do this 1 on 1 i think ...
But what the hell......................>
I Play a Single Bass Drum.
Am Fast as Hell on the Doubles and Triples are not bad either.
Thinking of moving to 2 Bass drums......
>> As i am right Handed ..footed....NEED the Practice on my weaker side
(My Dreaded Left) Jeez!
The Last thing i wanna do is Get Lazy and us the LEFT BASS DRUM
when Doubling Tripling.............
I Wanna Play Doubles with ease on both feet................

>> Am gonna shut up...liked the 2nd solo for control
Prefered your 1st for Enjoyment.

Am hoping to Do a (Drumgod) and post MY Little Solo right here..
Soon As ......

6 Drums , 5 Cymbals ..whole lotta Attitude....

>> Again , Nice 1 Mate !

OK...first off...I REALLY liked it. But...If I had to pick something that I think would make it sound fuller is a little more bass drum work....I think solos sound best when you get to hear full sounds made with the whole kit and I couldnt hear your bass drum almost at all.

Nice job Drumgod, you're are good drummer man. Hey what kind of china or effect cymbal was that, it sounded nice.

that's a 12" wuhan china...i like that one[/quote]

So do I! Great little cymbal. Perfect for patterns on higher pitched short sustain cymbals (splash and china and bells). Thse can sound wicked when played at quicker tempos.
