While I'm snare drumming I always just keep both sticks between thumb and pointing finger because I play a whole drumset and pretty good at it. I wanna learn how to master to keep the sticks in between the pointing finger and middle finger while still going at a great speed. Should I just keep practicing and playing like that until I get better or is there another way?? _________________ Lets see here... drums, drums, and some mo' drums. |

| Why would you want to learn how to play that way? Ease of spinning the sticks? I don't think I would alter my grip just to be able to pull off spins more easily, but that's just me. |

Instead of reteaching your hands to hold the sticks that way. Which you should know right now will hurt really bad until you build up some callus between your fingers. Just learn to be playing and slide your finger over do the spin and bring it back. Just work on it if you feel you need to learn it its alot easier than learning to grip the sticks like that. _________________ -Larry PAHS Tenor proud Tama Rockstar DX owner |
