Played a set of collector series in the tobacco burst finish for about a year.
Went to the Yamaha' Maple customs in the vintage finish with the diecast hoops and
24K gold lugs. I like the mounting system
and they seem to play a little better. Never
go out of tune, the DW's seemed a little
heavier and not as punchy...... The DW's record awesome... |

| Used to play DW, but I sold that to because it was very good, but not good enough to justify its price. I now own several kits. DW is great and if you think that it has the tone you are looking for then go for it. I did love all the options, but it wasn't meant to be. |

I have a 5 piece azure blue satin oil finish.
8X10, 9X12 14x14 18X22 bass 14X5 copper snare, and a 3.5 X 14 piccolo snare.
awesome set looks and sounds great!
