I just got my first LP Blaster Block. How do you get it to stay put on your hi hat stand, so that it doesn't spin away from you. I'm not sure if I have the thing on right. I'd appreciate any suggestions. |

Hey there!
One thing that comes to mind: Is the rod screwed in tightly?I know that sometimes if the rod isn't screwed in tightly enough, that can lead to the block moving around.
Personally, I would rather mount it on an accessory arm, simply because aside from the fact that it won't add excess weight to the hihat mechanism, the rod on the mount is usually knurled, assuring that it stays in place.
Hope this helps! |

Thanks. Since I've not put one on before, how is the rod supposed to go, relative to the clamp being around the hi hat rod? I appreciate the help. |

There's the clamp, and the rod with the two screws on the end. I'm not sure I have it on right. I guess I'm not sure where the rod is supposed to be when it's on the hi hat. Thanks. |

I place them together with bells in a mounting device with is set up from the top of the Bass-Drum frame, keeping it under the Toms(beside the snare). _________________ International Club of Percussionists |
