The inserted phrase is our WONDERFUL cuss-word filter at work. It works so well that it censors what you say EVEN WHEN IT'S NOT OBSCENE!!! Great, eh?
I'd say you'd need at minimum to get yourself a pair of hihats, as most find them to be one of the most necessary pieces of equipment. If budget is an issue, just get a hihat stand and whatever hihats you can afford. You can always uprade later.
Another thought: go to parents (if they bought you the set) and request that they go buy you the hihat, because you have an incomplete set, essentially. |

When I got my kit it only came with one cymbal and a hi-hat. Mine were no brand too but unlike yours they were rubbish! So I've changed my hi-hats for Zildjian and I use a Roland Meinl 18" crash as a crash ride. Now I am eager to add a 20" ride cymbal to it.
Good luck with the drumming .... have fun. |
