I've tried both B8 and the ZXT line, and I must say that the ZXT's are some VERY nice entry cymals, in my opinion. In fact, I near almost thought they weren't made fo the B8 bronze mixture! I think their sound is only a small notch underneath the higher level cymbals.

My only thing with the ZXT's is that some of the cymbals feel a bit on the thicker side. I do think they would work out well, though.

Sabian B8...I've head many many complaints about those cymbals, ranging from durability to people (including myself) thinking that the majority of the line is pretty bad sounding.

!!!! Please for the love of all things great and decent in the world of drums, stay away from The B8 series. pay the extra cash for the ZXT series. they are so much better!!!!!

Yes, through my experience it seems that ZXT and ZBT Plus are superior to B8.

My cymbals are not top of the line (zildjian zbt) but I love the sound of them. My advise: stick with zildjian.

Just wanted to make myself clear: I like my zbt crashes. My Hi-Hats still lack the "chick" of more expensive Hi-Hats. I like the fact that my 14 and 16 crashes sound like large splashes. It's just my taste though. With all of the cymbals I've heard, I like zildjian the best, but every drummer has their own taste.
