Well i have from left to right:
Paiste Alpha Power hi hats 14in
Wuhan 12in china
Zildjian A custom crash 16in
Camber 300 series ride 20in
Hoping to get a secondary crash, a new ride, and possibly a splash soon. I really want an avedis zildjian 22in med ride, but havent decided on the crash and possible splash and then im going to get a set of wuhan s series so that i have some decent cymbals for my round badge set. or ill just get some vintage cymbals, so it would look even cooler, but i need new clothes, need to pay off cell phone bills, and need to buy a couple pairs of new sticks before i can do that... lol _________________ "You can be smart and happy or you can be stupid and miserable."

My age is going to come out in this one...
I've been playing 37 years, almost exclusively jazz the whole time. My dad made his living playing jazz (piano) and I have followed in his footsteps. _________________ "When you're finished learning, you're finished."

Yeah, I've heard a few of the first ones that Chris got in at http://www.frontrangebronze.com, but the first few didn't do it for me. I'm planning a trip up there again soon, so they'll be in my sights.
I love cymbalholic (because I AM one!), but I wish they would open up membership again (or maybe they have and I missed it)...such a great site...I'd love to contribute.

very cool. i think chris might be planning to start making videos of each cymbal instead of just soundfiles... ask him about that the next time you're up there.
yah, they haven't reopened their membership in the short while i've been there. i got in just before chad closed it. _________________

Hello All,
Just a suggestion. When you put your cymbals up here, could you also write what kind of music you like? It could help noobs like me, So at least when we check the cymbals we know where to start. |

I think one of the problems with that is cymbal sound is so subjective to the player. In general, bright/projecting cymbals are good for rock/metal and darker/mellow cymbals are good for jazz. Aside from that, just look up some of your favorite drummers and see what they're playing. _________________ AeonScape MySpace Music
