To be perfectly honest, neither of those kits is very good - I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. You would be much better off buying a used Tama Swingstar, Pearl Forum, Yamaha YD, etc. with some used Sabian B8s or Zildjian ZBTs for around $300-400. You'll get higher quality gear and much better resale value if you decide you don't like drumming a year from now. | thats always an option... local music stores usually have lots of good used stuff to get your hands on. ive heard very good things about PDPs though, for them being such a cheap kit. |

| Yeah I've heard sets as cheap as that are usually destroyed by anyone that is playing loud enough to be heard. |

| i would say to get arround the Tama Stage star since its a begginers set or buy a cheap Drum Workshop (dw) PDP EZ thats the cheapest set and worth the money also Ddrum makes good drums (now) and cymbal wise...go for the paiste PS3 (not playstation 3) or PS5 i love paistes...im owning a crash 2002...ya i dont have the whole set cuz those are really expencive |
