Help please...

I just perchased a Drop Clutch. It didn't really come with in structions and i was wondering how to assemble it. Like where the hi hats go and what not.

do you know how to assemble a standard clutch already? if not, and im assuming that all of the parts are already in place, so you dont need to do any hardcore assembly, then you should be able to unscrew the middle part where the cymbal goes, place your top hat and top hat only on the screw part, and tighten bottom half back on. then put it on the stand and tighten it with the wingnut or whatever.

ok... the cymbal goes in the same place it went before. then drop the top hat that is between the washers onto the bottom hat. then take the remaining piece so that the little arm that you hit points upwards-ish and the little claw hook thing points down. then push the top piece onto the top hat piece until the claw thing grabs it then tighten the wingnut to where u want it

Step one:
Take the part that holds the hihat cymbal. Put the cymbal on it the way you normally would. MAKE SURE THE WING NUT IS NOT IN THIS PART!!! drop it down the rod onto the bottom cymbal.

Step two: take that weird looking top piece and make sure the wing nut is properly screwed in. Slide it down the hihat rod with that hook-like thing on the bottom. At some point, it will hook onto the part with the cymbal, forming one unit. Adjust the cymbal width as normal.

My thing has two pieces where does the thing that looks like a huge drill bit with the rubber triangle type things go. I know that the hook goes into part of it and thats how it's released and whatnot. Sorry to keep bothering you guys. Im just really lost. Thanks so much to eveyone whos helped so far.

in as few words as possible... basically, put the cymbal on the clutch as you would a standard clutch. then, when you put it on the stand, make sure the drop handle thingy is clicked into position, and then tighten the wingnut. i think thats it.

AH! Glorious day. I figured it out. Thanks guys. If it wasn't for your help i would still be wondering out to get it to work. Now only if i could get the part you hit to drop it to stay in place.
