very nice! interesting choice of sizes....why did you choose to go with a 13" instead of a 12" for your second rack tom?

Increments of three inches between the toms except for the 18 jump from 16 just seemed logical since I was trying to achieve a large degree of pitch and tone difference between all the toms. These drums sound superb and it really isnt as off the wall as one might think if they could hear them. The siginificant tone jump from the 10 to 13 is complimented and balanced out nicely with the 16. The drums have a little bit of it all. Nice brighter tones , warm medium tones with a little bit more bottom end due to the 13, and growling lows from the floor toms....The drums are pretty aggressive sounding but they sing beautifully....

I wish my father would have bought these for me..lol...I was only able to get these because I sold a 66 gibson Sg on ebay as well as a Gretsch renown maple kit. I buy and sell instruments every now and then as a hobby to just own and try out various gear. Although I make OK money for a living I would not have bought these if I had not been able to generate a weighty down payment from selling other instruments I no longer wanted. Dw's are very expensive in general not to mention larger sizes and choosing hardware other than chrome. The fact still remains that these drums are hands down some of the most if not the most phenominal sounding and looking drums I've ever owned or played. I can't walk past them without admiring their classy looks and styling. After gigging out with them they have grown on me tremendously and are without a doubt keeper drums.
