Saw a beauty set of Tama Rockstars at my "candy store" today...they were black near the rims, and faded to a smoky grey in the middle of the shells,...awesome Cool I'm also kind of partial to the "stainless steel" look. Anything but white Confused

I also noticed a Yamaha Birch custom that had a black " natural wood grain" looking finish. Very sweet, and it wasn't high gloss, so no need to polish it up. Smile

I like dark and deep reds. Like a blood red sparkle/black burst. Or walnut colour.

Right now I love the natural finishes, about 15 years ago I had a piano black Pearl BLX that was nice too.

I don't know where you're from, but around here, we do get to pick the color drum set we buy. My favorite colors so far have been Coral Crystal (my 9 piece Mapex Pro M), Autumn Burst (my 6 piece Gretsch Renown Maple), and Green Oyster (my Black Panther snare drum).

I really like the Aurill Blue that DW has and pretty much any Natural wood finish.
