There is one advantage to being a 2B player. If you ever run out of sticks, you can always get more by attending a baseball game at "bat day".

I have a slew of 2B's, but just for snare drumming at school. I couldn't imagine using one for set playing. I'll stick with my Jordison Aheads.

Promark 5B's are the perfect stick. The 2B's are like tree trunks. Haha.

Imo been looking and playing around with 7As and wood tips, nylon tips then went to buy some new sticks and they only had the more expensive Promark 5As which they sold to me for the same price as the cheaper range Very Happy . Never looked back even the 5A Stingers are sweet, good feel, weight. Oh I love my Promark sticks Cool. Worth every penny

I break pro-marks like crackers... I vastly prefer my Vater 3A fatbacks. better feel, twice as durable.

2B's are only good for clubbing seals.

Yea, I use Promark 5Bs, I found 5As, just a bit too thin.
At my local drum store, I am the only one that buys them!!

I agree, I've been using the 5B Pro Mark 'Natural' for about 6 or 7 years now. I have only ever broken 1 stick in that time, I love 'em.

After whittling the snot outta 5A's, I switched to 5B's and they're perfect. Not baseball bats, but they take a beating.

What are the Vater XD Rock sticks, then? That's beyond baseball bats, or maybe even tree trunks. But lately I've been playing lighter, no worries.
