I am looking into to possibly purchasing a custom Noble and Cooley kit; I want to find out what people think of them, if they have played them, are they as top notch as they seem to be. Smile

Sure, N&C drums are extremely nice, but you could get the same quality of sound from equally high-quality, though perhaps less glitzy, professional kits that cost much less. If money is no option, though, I'm sure you would be very happy with a kit from N&C.

Yeah, someone told me they were similar to DW, I guess I like the idea of a custom kit.

Similar to DW? Yeah, probably so, but N&Cs just seem a little more elite to me. If DWs were like a Jaguar, N&Cs would be a Bentley. Just my opinion. The sound is probably quite comparable between the two, but N&Cs have always had a really rich, classy look to them, to me anyway.

I recorded w/ a noble and cooley 7x14 maple snare over the summer and the drums was incredible. Very responsive and great overtones with a nice full sound. if you have the money go for it or...get a c&c. They make amazing snares

noble better than DW? hell no! N&C uses keller shells, just like every other so called custom company. shouldnt a company have to actually make their drums to be classified as custom. here are some actual custom companies and drum series; DW, Pearl masterworks, Sonor designer, Brady. ther are about a thousand companies just like N&C.
