Been playin on my used kit for a while now..about 3 - 4 months and tis starting to bother me that i do not know the brand of this kit...the thing sounds absolutely amazing and currently has evans G2 heads on them but other than that i love it. did i mention it sounds great, but anyways for those of you living in toronto you will know about soul drums..well i actually bought it from musicians choice in mississauga but it has a soul drums sticker on every shell and thats about it...all the heads have been changed and the hardware has no sticker on it so i can;t figure out the brand of this kit. its pure black and when i called soul drums they said its probably a trak...looked it up on the net and found nothing so would someone be able to help me...im gonna go with wut they said and take it as a trak but no one know for sure _________________ -----

If its that good, it may be a Trak. I have a Trak throne, and its *Holy Censor, Batman* comfortable and very sturdy, its like Gibraltar on steroids.

But the folks at sould drums (other store) told me that trak was simply a generic brand so they assume it wusnt that great of a kit. but after playing on it, it sounds as good as a pearl forum or yamaha rydeen...for wut i payed for it atleast. for $735 (CDN) i got a 5 pecie complete set with all hardware. a really nice used set of sabian high hats and a new sabian B8 ride cymbal. btw that cymbal is amazing..i play it as much as my studio rides. and a dixon drum throne along with a tunng key...all for 735 so thats pretty good considering a pearl or yamah starts at 899 just for 5 peice _________________ -----

Hmm, try looking al around the hardware for a sticker. I've had my throne for about a year and I only noticed the sticker then. Its pretty small.

At song bird in ottawa in ottawa they sell Trak drumsticks. These drumsticks are quite possibly the worst in history. They actually make your kit sound like crap and to add insult to injury zYou can break 4 pairs in 5 minutes so yes trk drums are a piece of crap

I started on a 'trak encore'. Anyone knows if it's the same company or not? It sucked big time. _________________
