I want my band to start practicing with a metronome but the singer and guitarist hate the click. Does anyone know of a metronome that uses light instead of audio? It would be cool to have a strobe in the center of the room flashing the correct tempo.

Yeah lots of metronomes do it but its alot harder to keep in time to a light I find. Just shop around and see what you think. Maybe its coz im used to clicks.

| Why not just have the click in headphones to your ear and have the band play to your beat.... I kinda thought that was one of the points of having a drummer... to keep the rhythm whilst making art. |

| When recording with Cubase or something, it has a metronome wich you can easily send to your headphones, among the monitorings. |

You should be the only that uses a click. The band should learn to sync to you.
I would suggest you buy one of the isolation headsets with a metronome. They're fairly inexpensive. |
