Okay, I don't know *Poop* about drum triggers. But, they look pretty cool and I need to find a way to Mic my drums. Do they mic your drums, or what do they do?

no, they dont actually mic your drums. they respond to the vibration created by your drums, and send an electronic signal to a drum module which produces an electronic sound. its the exact same thing that happens when you play a v-kit, but with the look and feel of real drums.

You can run triggers directly into a pre-amp and use the signals to trigger samples via a computer and a program such as drumagog. Many pro producers are using this technique.

You don't need a brain to process trigger signals if you have a suitable computer setup for recording.
