Yes,

Our youth group at church has an old set of Emrald drums that are still being used. Anyone know where I could get a couple of parts for these???
I am needing the brackets that bolt thru the side of the drum that the head tighteners fasten to. need 1 for a fifteen inch tom, and I need one for the bass drum. they appear to be made from cheap pot metal and break fairly easily.
I might be interested in an old set that would be available for parts.

Sorry for taking so long Hawkins.....I use to work for Emerald drums back in the 80's...Unfortunately they are long gone and out of business. As for parts good luck with that. I would suggest finding someone with another Emerald set and using it for parts like you mentioned... I am willing to part with mine if you would like. I can e-mail you a few pics of it. It's been used extensively in a ton of gigs all thru out hollywood rock clubs in the past 20 years. However it still plays and sounds great....Let me know what you would like to do if anything......Thanks again and good luck

I HAVE AN EMERALD SNARE 8X14, BOUGHT IT AT DALES DRUM SHOP IN PA ABOUT 18 YEARS AGO, THEY HAD 2 EXOTIC WOOD SNARES I BOUGHT A BUBINGA MODEL, I THINK THE OTHER WOOD WAS AN AFRICAN I'M NOT SURE BUT IT WAS LIGHT IN COLOR. I REPLACED THE HOOPS WITH DIECAST AND STRAINER. THE DRUM SOUNDS AND LOOKS GREAT. OVER THE YEARS THE DRUM HAD BEEN PRETTY BEAT-UP SO IT HAS BEEN RE-COVERED AND IS NOW WHITE PEARL. I USE IT FREQUENTLY WITH MY DW WHITE PEARL KIT.
I HAVE OFTEN WONDERED ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM
