hey guys, i came from the drum-talk forum
i just wanted to let you know how great customer service dennis has from bib! i'm buying a kit from him soon, and he gave me a SWEET deal, way better than conaway or anything. conaway doesn't even let his lacquer finishes cure. let's just say i have a friend thats not happy with his snare from conaway. just check his great drums out, www.bibdrums.com or email him Dennis@bibdrums.com for a killer quote! i love his drums! trust me this guy has probably better craftsmanship than ocdp! i know a lot of people on drumtalk that love bib drums also, so even ask them to guys.

dennis from bib also told me that he was working on some new stuff, i dont know all the new stuff but he can also do a acrylic shells, hybrid shells, and some other stuff that OCDP can't even do. and its way cheaper

OK...Im gonna chime in here. First off...I take offense when you come on here and slam a trusted respected builder like Conaway while plugging some other company. I own a custom drum company and would NEVER do something like that and I would never want one of my customers to do that either. I checked out Bib's site BTW...Very classy looking drums...as far as pricing, I didnt see anything out of the ordinary for prices.

Bottom line...If you own Bibs drums and like em, great! Share your experience with the other members here and turn them on to this company. I wish them the best...But slandering other respected names to shamelessly plug someone else is unacceptable. Hopefully a mod will delete this thread #Mad

i dont know, but they must be awesome! this guy is obviously not connected with them in any way, and has nothing to gain from us buying drums from them.

i'm am sorry for barging in like that but i do respect conaway. i was just comparing together. i didnt actually mean to make fun of conaway because i respect dave as a builder but i really have to say bib drums are awesome.

and the prices on his site arent his real prices, he will give you a better deal than that. i know a lot of people that got awesome quotes for kits from him.

I looked at his site. His prices are alright. But the site is so disorganized. Text all over. It doesn't look very professional.

yeah he needs a little fixing up, and his prices on his site are not his TRUE prices, but don't judge a book by it's own cover, haha

Slander: the tort or delict of publishing (to a third party) a false statement that negatively affects someone's reputation.

In this case what Drummer_b0i wrote is NOT slander because it is true.

Why can’t people share negative experiences as well as the positive? I would hope..insist that a forum like this be a place were people are free to share their opinion weather it be positive or critical. In fact, I argue that the oppression of criticism is unacceptable and would lead to the degradation of drumming. Say, for example, it was considered unacceptable to express all critical opinions. Products and services of mediocre or inferior quality would have less incentive to improve and information withheld to artists. People who may have know better would be more likely to purchase these inferior products.

If someone feels the need to express a negative opinion then they have that freedom. As long as they do not lie then they are well within their rights.

Hey your welcome!!
Gee I would never have thought someone would wait so long. Guess you’re just a super eager person.
Oh wait…Eyeeee get it. You’re being sarcastic. You weren’t REEEEEly waiting with baited breath for the past two years for someone to come and clarify a point made in this useless spam thread. I get it …you just don’t like my post.
How can I go on? I have been waiting with baited breath for your approval and now that you’ve finally come out with how you really feel …well…there’s not enough Prozac in this world to keep me from the dark watery depths of sadness and self-loathing. Goodbye cruel world. Goodbye mom and dad. Goodbye one and all. And last but not least, dare I bid you, Randon White Person, the love of my life, the wind beneath my a*s, dare I bid you farewell lest the Earth fall off its axis, the oceans turn to blood, and the clouds, the vary clouds we pondered during our many rendezvous in the Ozarks, turn to rain? A dark foreboding rain, one that soils the soul, that burns.

Plunge the knife
Fade to black
Peace at last
